The water is back on
Despite the fact that we have had more rain in the past six weeks than most people have seen in their lives (a slight exaggeration) the water company decided to shut the water off to our community. We went without water for three full days before the water came back on late this morning. It's only a mild inconvenience though; we have thousands of litres of water in huge tanks in the attic. With the pathetic water pressure we had, we would have had to work at draining our water in three days. All is well now. We have water, our phone (which didn't work for three weeks) is working great, and the internet (which has been off and on for days on end) seems to have stabilized as well.
